What each tier includes

See what each tier includes, then choose the features you will actually use.

Turbo

  • Ad-free viewing across Twitch, with sponsorship and promotion exceptions
  • Extra chat colors and emote set
  • Longer storage for past broadcasts

Channel sub (Tier 1)

  • No ads on that one channel (when the streamer allows)
  • That channel's emotes and badge
  • Money goes to the streamer

Break-even, in plain numbers

A Tier 1 sub costs $5.99 and only removes ads on one channel when that streamer enables the benefit. Turbo is $11.99 and clears them everywhere.

If you watch two channels and have Prime, you pay for one sub: $5.99, half the price of Turbo. Watch three or more channels without Prime and Turbo is cheaper. The calculator also divides the winner by your watch hours, so you can see the cost per ad-free hour.
